I designed this course for anyone seeking to be functionally fit. What does it mean to be "functionally fit?" When you are functionally fit, you have a body that can support you in all the activities you want or need to do in daily life. When you are functionally fit, your body is also resilient and injury resistant.
Sedentary lifestyles create bodies that are less mobile, weak, and prone to injury and pain. This course is for anyone of any age who wants to ease back into movement. It will help you create a body that is strong, mobile, and reliable without gym time.
This course includes a variety of activities and methods of instruction. Follow along at your own pace and have fun!
After completing this course participants will:
- Understand the components of being Functionally Fit.
- Begin layering in important mobility and strength building movements into daily activity.
- Experience self-assessments to determine their baseline Functional Fitness.
- Create a plan for becoming Functionally Fit.
