Within each section there will be a description of the above areas and related conditions and concerns that yoga can be helpful in managing, reducing, or even eliminating.

  • A condition is generally considered a formal health diagnosis such as high blood pressure, osteopenia or depression.
  • A concern is not necessarily a health issue but something we may be concerned about such as improving sleep, weight loss or preventing injuries.

This information will be followed by a brief overview of the research in this area and some recommendations of yoga styles to explore. After reviewing the suggested styles you can go to the Yoga Sampler section of this course to try out that style.
